I have worked in a research project - Theory of Mind-based Cognitive Architecture for Teams (ToMCAT), which is part of DARPA Artificial Social Intelligence for Successful Teams (ASIST) programDARPA Artificial Social Intelligence for Successful Teams (ASIST) program.
In this project, I have work on leveraging a rule-based information extraction system to improve the performance of a Neural Dialog Act Classifier. Also, I have led language annotation training and scheduled weekly meetings to identify and resolve annotation issues.

I have worked as a Data Science Ambassador for the College of Humanities at the University of Arizona. As an ambassador, I have worked on helping researchers, educators, and graduate students in the College of Humanties with data science related questions through consults, training, and referrals to the right resource.
Also, I have worked on developing training sessions that are specific to needs to the College of Humanities.

I had been a language instructor for 7 years. I was invovled in diverse teaching context, including college-level language courses, immersive language programs as well as k-12 Mandarin courses.
As a former language teacher, I naturally gravitate toward helping others especially under-represented groups, loving to work with people from diverse background, turning complicated things into simple concepts.
